The condensional archive of the Russian Federation stores a unique corps of documentary sources on the history of archival construction in the first years of Soviet power - materials of the Main Directorate of Archival Affairs of the RSFSR. Among them, a well -preserved complex of protocols and magazines of meetings of collegiums Guad and the Centerchive of the RSFSR stands out. A significant part of the collegium materials for many years has been on a closed storage and had never been published before. This publication includes the most important sources on the history of the GAD and the Centrals of the RSFSR - protocols and magazines of meetings of collegiums of these departments.
The first volume of the documentary publication includes the texts of the protocols and magazines of the college of the Main Directorate of Archival Affairs for November 1918 - December 1920, as well as the minutes of the meeting of the Section of the Unified State Archival Fund for July 1918 - December 1920. Documents are published. for the first time. The publication is equipped with comments and signs.
