The innovative nature of this monograph is determined by the fact that this is one of the few works in which it is from sociological positions that the theme of the Great Victory is considered, its experience is revealed in the work of uniting stages and periods of historical - Soviet - modern Russia, the development of the military factor of the Eastern Christian Orthodox - Soviet - Russian civilizations.
The Great Victory (1941-1945) is considered from the standpoint of its influence on the formation of the values and meanings of the Russian (East Christian Orthodox) civilization. The inextricable connection of the stages of its development from historical Russia to Soviet and Russian forms of unified civilization is shown. The civilizational immunity of the victorious peoples and, above all, the Russian superethnos as nuclei and ethnominants of modern Russian society, is revealed.
