The publication of the Chronicle, dedicated to the 275th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, covers its scientific and scientific and organizational activities in the first half of the XIX century. The publication is based on the minutes of the meetings of the general meeting and three departments of the Academy of Sciences-physical, mathematical, historical and philological and separation of the Russian language and literature, which were usually conducted in foreign languages ​​and were not available to a wide reader. To recreate the activities of the Academy of Sciences, various periodicals of the XIX century were also used.
