The book examines the problem of leasing and selling public land in Attica in the V-IV centuries. BC. The main source of study is epigraphic material. Based on ancient Greek inscriptions on the rental and sale of land, the problem of organizing transactions with land of various polis teams is considered. The first chapter presents lease conditions, income from the transaction as one of the sources of financing the policy of the policy. The second chapter explores social and legal aspects of lease. The social status of tenants and their guarantors, the rights and obligations of participants in the transaction, as well as the nature of the management of the lease process, is studied in detail. The third chapter is devoted to the problem of selling public land. In particular, objects and conditions of sale are considered, the price of land.
