Howard Zinn (1922-2010) - left intellectual of Jewish origin, along with Noam Khomsky and Susan Umbrelor was one of the most consistent critics of the US foreign policy. The famous American political scientist and writer, doctor of historical sciences, taught at the universities of Boston, Paris and Bologna. His book, repeatedly reprinted both in America and in the other direction of the Atlantic, contains largely different from the traditional look at the most important events in the history of the United States from colonial times to the beginning of the XXI century.
It is saturated with unusually bright and interesting facts that allow the Russian reader to better understand our probable enemy both in the past and, quite possibly, in the near future. This work will certainly attract the attention of not only professional historians, sociologists and political scientists, but also everyone who is interested in the history of the United States
