In the Second World War, the military union led by Germany included countries that had very different political regimes and various degrees of independence in decision -making. And although their list is quite long, nevertheless, they can be very conditionally divided into several “categories”, and there are few countries that can be called allies.
This is primarily Japan, which was able to wage a severe war against the United States and Great Britain without any direct help. Italy, who claimed the role of a senior partner in the Italo-German Union. And finally, Finland. Although, perhaps, its remoteness from the main concentration of Germany’s power - Central Europe affected here. Franksist Spain is somewhat apart, which, although de facto was an ally of Germany, was limited only to political steps, refusing to enter the war, while citing internal difficulties.
