The publication proposed by the reader was prepared in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation on the research and publishing project "Acts of the Russian state. State and corporate archives of Russia of the XIII-XVII centuries. " A series of publications of documents of domestic archives is designed to mention the preservation of historical heritage, to expand the base of the study of Russian statehood and culture, the history of the peoples inhabiting our country.
The series opens up the publication of the so -called Lithuanian metric, the most important documentary complex for studying the history of the West Russian regions. In the first volume of "acts related to the history of Western Russia", a copy collection of documents of Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of the Polish Alexander (1461-1506) is published-the 6th book of records of Lithuanian metric. The collection includes diplomas issued to representatives of the service class and cities, embassy, ​​judicial, administrative and office documents.
