The publication proposed by the reader was prepared in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation on the research and publishing project "Acts of the Russian state. State and corporate archives of Russia of the XIII-XVII centuries. " A series of publications of documents of domestic archives is designed to mention the preservation of historical heritage, to expand the base of the study of Russian statehood and culture, the history of the peoples inhabiting our country.
The series continues the second issue of "acts related to the history of Western Russia", containing the publication of copy documents of the 18th and 32nd books of Lithuanian metric records-collections that are part of the so-called Metric of Queen Bona. The published documents cover the period from the beginning of the XV to the middle of the XVI century. And they belong to the authorship of the Grand Dukes of the Lithuanian and the kings of the Polish Vitovt, Casimir, Alexander, Sigismund I of the Old, Sigismund II Augustus, Queen Bona Sforza, Orthodox Lithuanian-Russian princes of Kobrinsky, Yaroslavichi, Pronsky, representatives of the famous noble clans of the Grand Principality of Lithuania. The collections contain charter letters
Territories, documents for the right to own land, addressed to representatives of the service class, Orthodox and Catholic clergy, judicial, administrative and office work
Documents.
