The book on the states of consciousness is based on a course of six lectures called "Man and his ethnic group". In the spring of 2015, Sergei Magid gave these lectures in the House of National Minorities in Prague. It was about the history of the "Russian ethnic mentality." Those present wanted to understand - and, we can assume that it was a matter of life for both listeners and a lecturer - why Russia is what it is. For this, it was necessary to clarify human history as a history of consciousness, as the history of its structures, the stages of its development, its capabilities and prospects, as the history of its states. Without such an clarification - in the most detailed theoretical and at the same time a specific historical and applied form - it seems that one cannot realize what is happening to Russia and what needs to be done with it.
