In the new monograph by Professor V.V. Perkhina studies the Vakhov origins of the ethical and political views of A.N. Tolstoy and their place in his creative position and relations with the leaders of the Bolshevik power in Soviet Russia I.V. Stalin and V.M. Molotov, with statesmen such as N.I. Yezhov, P.N. Pospelov, N.M. Shvernik, B.Z. Shumyatsky, M.B. Khrapchenko.
A wide range of sources from state archives and documentary publications of modern times, from Russian Soviet and foreign periodicals, as well as foreign press, was used. The application presents a set of responses of writers and literary critics to death A.N. Tolstoy.
