The book of the researcher of the history of the First World War Alexander Kozlov was compiled on the basis of documents of the military-historical archive and the memoirs of participants about the military operations and life of one of the oldest regiments of the Russian Imperial Army, the 14th Grenadier Georgian Highness of the heir to the Prince of the regiment, in 1917,1918.
The position of the central powers by 1917 became catastrophic: there were no more reserves for the army, the scale of hunger grew, the Entente"s transport devastation and the fuel crisis of the country increased their military potential. Their victory by exhaustion of the central powers became only a matter of time even without offensive operations. However, the revolution happened in Russia, Emperor Nicholas P was rejected from the throne and the uniform of dual power, the decomposition of the army began in the country. According to the military historian A.L. Kersnovsky: "eight months from February to October 1917 were a dirty page of our own history. The unprecedented dirt was then washed off with great blood ... "

In the presented book, in a chronological order, the day after day is documented as the actions of the military units of the II Caucasian Army Corps, the Caucasian Grenadier Division, the regiments constituting the division, and the lower ranks of the 14th Grenadier Georgian Regiment.
