The annual articles of Russian scientists are presented, covering a wide range of problems of domestic and foreign history. The annual one year opens the heading of "70 years of the Great Victory ", in the articles of which the issues of Soviet military planning are revealed on the eve of the Great Patriotic War and the relations of the USSR with allies in the anti -Hitler coalition. The heading of the 100th anniversary of the First World War was compiled by articles covering the most important aspects of the state of the rear of the Russian army: interethnic relations, food blanks for the army, the work of railway transport. Other articles examine the social, political and cultural aspects of the process of formation and development of Russian statehood from the Middle Ages to the latest time and its crisis in 1917-1920, as well as the problems of archeography and source studies of photodominative sources on the history of Russia. By tradition, materials about the past of the Russian Academy of Sciences are included in the collection.
