1943 opened for the Red Army "Era of Victory Salutes". Panic retreats and tankobias, interruptions with connections and frontal attacks without artillery were left in the past. There was no longer the absolute superiority of enemy aircraft and daily exhausting raids of diving bombers. However, our artillery still beat not so much for targets as in the areas, the interaction between the military of the troops was not worked out, and human losses remained unreasonably high.
And yet the strategic situation gradually changed in favor of the Red Army, which, together with experience, gained faith in victory. According to the writer-Frontovik Vasil Bykov: "The war taught. Gradually, military operations, especially at the lower link, began to acquire an element of rationality ... "
