F.M. Dostoevsky - a gambling player and political criminal, a neurotic and philosopher, "Russian Nietzsche" - has become one of those symbols of Russian culture that to this day determine the appearance of Russia around the world.
A cellular novel, by definition of the author himself, "White Nights" and an incomplete novel about the suffering child "Netochka Nezovanov" - the story of a crash of dreams. The main character’s love story for the girl Nastya illuminates his lonely life, but does not make happy. Sentimental and sensitive heroes do not withstand collisions with reality. So the fate of the Nytnovova inaccules anticipates the appearance of exalted heroines of the famous Dostoevsky’s novels.
The book also includes the story "The boy at Christ on the Christmas tree."
