A lot has been written about the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 - memories, research, interviews with participants.
In this book, an attempt was made to look at the origins of the Warsaw uprising in the light of recently declassified archival documents and memoirs of events participants.
The brutal suppression of the Warsaw uprising of 1944 did not teach emigrants from the London "Polish ghetto. They continued to be active and quite seriously considered themselves the government. Only in exile.
