In the next volume of the “chosen” works of the famous Russian writer Nikolai Pavlovich Zadornov (1909-1992), two of his novels at the same time about Russian inner life and international. The first is the “wind of fertility” - about the most important agreements for Russia with Qing China. This is the Aigunsky agreement on the borders between the Amur countries, concluded by the Governor of Siberia N.N. Muravyov, and the Tianjin treatise signed by E.V. Count Putyatin. For the first time, the reader is also offered two parts of the author’s last novel - “Vladivostok” dedicated to the foundation and development of a new city on the shore of the Pacific and its determining role in the entire history of the Russian state. Particular attention in it is paid to the difficult relations of tsarist Russia and other powers and the backstage games of their rulers
