Marina Ivanovna Tsvetaeva (1892-1941) - poet, writer, playwright, translator. Her work was the largest phenomenon of the Silver Age of Russian literature. The Tale of Sonya is the last prose work of Marina Tsvetaeva. Written in 1937 after the news of the death of a close friend, actress Sofya Gollidei, it returns Tsvetaeva to Moscow in the 1919-1920.
