The outcome of the Second Punic War forever changed the ancient world, and hence the ways of development of our civilization. This conflict is interesting in that for the first time the fighting unfolded simultaneously on several fronts, on a vast territory - in Italy, Spain and Sicily. Two best commander of the era - Carthaginian Gannibal and Roman Scipio African came across the battlefield. But many books have been written about them. This work presents military biographies of other commanders of the Second Puni War: the ambiguous military leader Guy Flaminius, whose image of Roman historians prettyly ruined, Mark Claudia Marcellus, who, taking the Siracuse, eliminated the front in Sicily, and Hasdrubal, who was undeservedly in the shadow of his older brother Hannibal
