The book is the first generalizing work showing the role and place of the Urals in the whole series of wars of Russia of the world, regional and local significance, which took place in the XVIII-XXI centuries. On the pages of the publication, the processes of the manufacture of Ural weapons and equipping the army were analyzed, and a characteristic of military operations of units and units formed in the Urals is given. A significant place is given to the coverage of the activities of historical personalities, immigrants from the Ural land related to the production of weapons or directly participating in combat operations.
