Have you ever heard about the Jewish autonomy formed in Crimea before the emergence of the state of Israel? But in the 1920s, in the USSR, in the USSR, they really thought about the proposal of American Jews to create Jewish autonomy on the Crimea Peninsula on the basis of several communes. And in the Northern Crimea they were created. The project was called Crimean California. To this joint project, they returned after the Second World War, but in the end the idea was not fully implemented.
