Stories about the creation of a folk militia, headed by the Nizhny Novgorod by the headman Kozma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, who are grateful descendants in 1812, by the 200th anniversary of the end of the Time of Troubles, erected a monument in Moscow on Red Square. Thanks to their commercial skill and personal courage, as well as the dedication of the soldiers-captures in 1612, Moscow was freed from the Polish invaders.
