"Queen of Russian humor" Tuffy (real name is Nadezhda Alexandrovna Lokhvitskaya, 1872-1952) is known to the reader as the author of satirical stories, in which irony and wit are harmoniously combined with sadness. Her incomparable talent was highly appreciated by A. I. Kuprin, D. S. Merezhkovsky, F. Sologub.
