The Book Club of Book Club begins a new series of collections, which is not in the domestic book publishing. "Topics" - this will be called a new series, and the prose and poetic works of Russian classic writers, written on a topic defined in the name of each collection, will include it. "Russian writers about ..." childhood and youth, about growing up, about suddenly flashing feelings - love, jealousy, passion, about family relationships, about the middle -aged crisis, about the Russian people, about gambling, about the homeland, about two capitals - St. Petersburg And Moscow, about the Russian village, about "extra" people, about revolutions, crimes and suicides, about politics, wealth and poverty, about old age and death ... Almost all our collections will include works of Russian classics of the late XVIII, XIX and early XX centuries. Unfortunately, sometimes we cannot include some works of the middle and end of the 20th century for the reason that it is not always possible to find the heirs of the copyrights of our beloved authors and the searches are delayed for an indefinite time. In the center of each collection, we put one work that most clearly responds to a given topic. And one work will be at first glance almost "outside the topic", as a “highlight” in order to bring the conversation into an unusual direction
