The sixth volume of the multi -volume composition of France dedicated to the military campaigns in the period from 1792 to 1815, in the era of revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. We begin our publication with the history of the revolutionary wars of 1792-1802. The book was published in 1817-1821 in the wake of events and was based on the memoirs of the direct participants in the wars. The facts are stated in chronological order. The author describes all theaters of military operations, equally paying attention to key and secondary events, battles with the external enemy and vicissitudes of the civil war. The through chronological principle of narration creates the effect of immersion in the stormy and tragic era of the Great Revolution
