The wonderful Russian writer Alexander Stepanovich Grinevsky, known under the pseudonym, Alexander Green, created in his works a special world, a fabulous country, dangerous and tempting, full of bright colors, warmth and sun. Subsequently, this country was called Greenland: the water there glows into three arshins, and the fish fly through the air in the manner of gams, and the sky, under which you want to laugh from dawn to dawn. In his works about dreamers, travelers, sailors, adventures and fantasy, psychology and philosophy, romance and tragedy were connected. Green is “a poet of intense thought” (as critic A. Gornfeld said about him), whose beautiful and noble heroes, inspired by faith in good and love, are ready to act contrary to the stern world.
The real collection includes the story “Scarlet Sails”, the novels “The Blinding World”, “Golden Chain”, “Running along the waves” and “The road nowhere”, as well as the late “Autobiographical
