This publication is a continuation of the Red Aviators on the fronts of the Civil War published in 2017. 1918-1920 " And describes the combat work of the Red Aviators on the Southern Front in 1920, the Caucasian front in 1920-1921 and the Turkestan front in 1918-1921. The second part of the book is devoted to the participation of aviators in the suppression of rebellions and centers of banditry in 1921-1922.
On the basis of numerous archival documents (reports of hostilities, reports of aviators, ideas for awarding and orders), personal memoirs of direct participants in the described events and materials of family archives, the circumstances of the accomplishment of exploits are investigated. In addition to the previously well -known aviators - heroes of the Civil War, the book tells the first time the exploits of pilots, observers, mechanics, motorists and military commissars, mentioning of which could only be found in the lists of awarded.
In addition to awarding aviators, the Order of the Red Banner of the RSFSR, the topic of presenting the orders of the Red Banner of other Soviet republics - Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia is addressed.
The book is illustrated by unique photographs, many of which are published for the first time, equipped with tables, schemes, a name pointer and bibliography.
