The book is a continuation of a series of publications dedicated to the Prussian army of the period of 1808–1840: the history of units, uniforms, equipment and weapons. This publication examines parts of the provincial and guards Landver, units of free huntsmen, regiments of the national cavalry and volunteer corps. The book is illustrated by several hundred original engravings, lithographs, graphic and picturesque work from museum and private collections depicting the ranks of the Prussian army.
