Lyubov Yakovlevna Gurevich (1866-1940) - Russian writer, theater and literary critic, translator, publicist and public figure, whose literary talent touched the theme of the pessimistic moods of the era of timeless - the eighties of the XIX century. In many respects, the autobiographical novel of the Plack Encomes, whose idea arose even a fifteen -year -old writer, first appeared on the pages of the Northern Herald - a magazine, the publisher of which was Gurevich herself from 1891 to 1898. Such famous writers as N. S. Leskov, L. N. Tolstoy, A.P. Chekhov and others were involved in his participation.
