Pilgrimage. Old Valaam

The book includes two autobiographical novels of one of the best Russian writers Ivan Sergeyevich Shmelev (1873 -1950) - "Praying Old Valaam".
In the "pilgrimage" on the face of a little boy, the first pilgrimage is described in his life - in the Trinity -Sergius Lavra, who gave him unique meetings with ordinary Russian people, whose life is warmed by a simple and deep faith in God.
The story "Old Valaam" is dedicated to the author’s wedding trip to the ancient Orthodox monastery, which returned the joy of lost children"s faith to him.
