Boris Viktorovich Savinkov (1879–1925) - Russian politician, publicist, writer. One of the leaders of the Socialist -Revolutionary Party and the leaders of the Socialist -Revolutionary Combat Organization, the organizer of many terrorist acts, later a white emigrant. The book included two novels by Boris Savinkov - “Pale horse” (1909) and “Horse Crown” (1923) In the story “The Horse Pale”, in many ways of the autobiographical, the author tells about the activities of a group of terrorists who prepare attempts on prominent statesmen. This essay is reflected in Savinkov’s disappointment in a terrorist struggle. The “Horse of the Vorona” continues the motives of the first story: the author complies with the results of the civil war and demonstrates the futility of the white movement. The narrative is conducted in the first person in the form of a hero’s personal diary. Both works contain many philosophical discussions about religion, ethics, psychology, the significance of the political struggle
