The new book of the historian Boris Sokolov, based on previously unknown documents from the Polish archives, tells about the role of the famous Chekist operation "Trust", directed against the monarchical wing of Russian emigration, in the disinformation of the Polish and other foreign intelligence on the combat power of the Red Army and the domestic and foreign policy of the USSR . Disinformation materials are compared with the true state of the Soviet armed forces and the main directions of misinformation and their change throughout the 20s are determined.
