Grigory Anisimovich Fedoseev (1899-1968) lived a life full of amazing adventures, life on the verge of survival, but unusually interesting and beautiful. Actually, even two lives! In his "first" life - geologist and surveyor - Grigory Fedoseev managed to fulfill the dream of every boy who read famous romantic writers. His usual environment was the pristine taiga, wild animals and inaccessible rocks. Fedoseev was called "The last of the Mogican", before whom the landscapes were still opened, of which the human eye did not see. The author’s track record included the Kola Peninsula, Transbaikalia. The Caucasus, the Urals, Western Siberia and the Far East, but still East Sayan took a special place. "We are walking along the Eastern Sayan" - so Fedoseev called his first story based on diary entries, and became unexpectedly surprisingly popular.
