The collection includes the early works of the famous pre -revolutionary writer Fedor Kryukov, who opened his path to large literature. Among them are essays on the history of the Don Territory, a special place among which is the Bulavinsky rebellion (1707-1708) Study from the history of Peter the Great’s relationship to the Don Cossacks, the manuscript of which was discovered in the preserved archive of the writer. This work is the result of the writer’s many years, his thoughts on the historical purpose of the Cossacks and his place in the state structure of Russia, which accompanied him throughout his life"s path ... The manuscript was not published during the life of F. D. Kryukov and saw the light only in 2004 G., while maintaining options for the author’s version of the text.
Other works are also included in the collection, including a later period of the writer’s work showing the evolution of his views and creativity.
