What fills the private life of the Leningrad intellectual - the hero of this book, who had to live in a slowly dilapidating totalitarian empire? At first glance, all kinds of little things: rare books on oriental religions and culture, tea ceremonies and paradoxical thoughts. But the alarming reality, at the same time, post- and pre-scatrofid, inexorably shines through everyday life: a finely-minded copyright receiver captures all unpredictable historical events, natural disasters and geographical changes. The flashes of consciousness and the smallest movements of objects are closely related to the fundamental shifts of history, and the rare talent of Leon Bogdanov, who made “notes on tea drinking and earthquakes" Cults, allows him to detect and demonstrate this connection to the reader. The courage of the author’s position is amazing: Bogdanov’s prose is not postulating escapism, but an intensive residence of the era as the only way to overcome it. Leon Bogdanov (1942-1987) is one of the key authors of the Leningrad Unsignly Literature, the author of many poetic and prosaic works published in the magazines "watches", "TransPores", "Mini magazine". In 1986, for "notes on tea party and earthquakes" received the Award of Andrei Bely.
