F. M. Dostoevsky - the creator of the Polyphonic Roman, according to M. M. Bakhtin, created the book of essays “Notes from the Dead House” under the impression of imprisonment in the Omsk prison. This is a deep work of the great thinker, the main idea of which was freedom as the most important condition for human existence. This is a unique document, including stories about the fate of these prisoners, whom the writer met in hard labor, many characteristic expressions and sayings heard by the writer from prisoners and soldiers
