Konstantin Dmitrievich Nosilov (1858-1923) was born in the village of Maslyansk, not far from the city of Shadrinsk. The passion for travels has manifested the writer in the youth years, and since the late 70s he completely surrendered to his calling. On the New Earth, he founded two colonies of the Nenets and built a house station where he conducted regular observations of the life of nature. He also examined the lower course of the Ob, the Yamal Peninsula and repeatedly traveled around the Northern Urals. Continuing the best traditions of Russian travelers-Miklukho-Maclay, Przhevalsky, Kozlov and others, Nosilov quickly gained confidence in the indigenous inhabitants. He was a welcome guest in the yurts of the Kyrgyz and Nenets, Mansi and Khanty. A lot of stories for adults and children have been written about local peoples, their life and life.
