Israel with its nine million people is surrounded by twenty -two Arab states, in which more than three hundred million people live. A small state, practically devoid of resources, managed to build a decent life for its citizens. And neighboring Arab states cannot. The neighborhood with Israel gives rise to an inferiority complex. Partly, therefore, Israel was in the center of a major Middle Eastern conflict - endless terrorist attacks, shelling, murders of military, police and just civilians. The country is forced to protect itself in all ways available to it. In the 70-80s, almost the whole world condemned Israel for the use of force in the struggle against terrorists, for the military operations of special services in other states. Times have changed, now not only Israel, but many other states were victims of great terror. Is it time to seriously study the experience of Israeli special services, which - yes, not without mistakes and failures - have been fighting for more than seventy years for the survival of their country and confront terrorism?
