Mikhail Bulgakov (1891-1940) - an unrecognized genius of his time, the crown of his work - the novel "Master and Margarita" - was subjected to persecution and censorship for many years. For the first time in full, the book was printed only in the 80s of the twentieth century, forever won a place among the classics not only of domestic, but also in world literature.
The plot is alternately replaced by acute satire, phantasmagoria and ironic-philosophical scenes, constantly surprising the reader, moving the narrative between Moscow of the 1930s and Jerusalem of the 1st century AD
On the pages of the novel, a talking cat walking on his hind legs, and Pontius Pilate, who pronounces a terrible sentence to the Savior, a witch flying naked in the night capital, and Yeshua, healing his executioner
