One of the most important reproaches nominated by contemporaries Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov (1821-1877) was the prosaic of his poetry. Belinsky, Turgenev, Tolstoy believed that it was better to write Nekrasov in prose, and Nekrasov himself often compared his poems with prose. Nevertheless, most readers know, quote and love Nekrasov-poet, knowing almost nothing about his very exciting novels, stories and plays, which are published only in complete collections of works and are very rarely included in collections.
