Roman Yuri Nikolayevich Tynyanov (1894–1943) tells of the fate of the Russian poet, Lyceum friend Pushkin, participant in the Decembrist uprising on December 14, 1825, Wilhelm Kuchelbecker (1797–1846) He did not become a great poet and did not enter the number of the most famous Decembrists, but his life path - we are all an example and a lesson. We see that honor and conscience are not empty words, but human dignity and faith in ideals can be preserved even in the most difficult circumstances.
The novel is very modern in form: most images are visual, the text is cut into short paragraphs-cadres, working with plans is actively going on: large, medium, distant, the narrative quickly moves from one episode to another, as if during installation.
Tynyanov carefully reconstructed events on historical documents and archives of the poet himself, lived every moment of his life again. And, according to Benjamin Kaverin, Kyuhl came to life in front of us in the whole truth of feelings, with all the touching purity of his hopes and aspirations.
For the middle and senior school age
