The eighth book of Vladimir Kolomiyts is a reflection story. In it, the author is trying to philosophically comprehend the world in which a person lives, the role and place of ethnic groups in this world and one of them - the Cossacks, especially Tersky, whose history in the Caucasus goes deep into centuries. This is nostalgia for their native places and glorious cases of Cossacks. This is a pain for an unfair attitude to the Cossacks of the state. This is a view of the future of a revived Cossacks. But in general, this is a story about what history teaches
