The novel Igor. The root of the family ”is the third in the chain of the story of the first Novgorod-Kyiv princes of the period of the formation and development of the Russian principality in the 9th-10th centuries. The reader is already familiar with the novels “Rurik. The flight of the falcon ”and the“ runes of the prophetic Oleg ”, which we wrote in collaboration with Mikhail Nikolayevich Zadornov.
Prince Igor is the first Old Russian prince, whose name is known to both Byzantine and Western sources.
In this novel, we set out a version of historical events, which seems logically justified to us.
