Fokin Nikolai Nikolaevich (1869-1914) Poet, fiction writer, author of a large number of essays, stories and books on hunting. Being from 1908 to 1914 the editor of the famous St. Petersburg hunting magazine "Our Hunt" (1907-1917) He left a noticeable mark in Russian hunting journalism. Famous hunting experts collaborated in his magazine - S. A. Buturlin, A.P. Ivashentsov, practical hunters - Bear Bear A. N. Lyalin, pottery N.P. Kishensky. And Nikolai Nikolaevich himself wrote for his magazine, which required not only tireless labor, but also material sacrifices: he paid for losses brought from his own funds. He left a large literary inheritance: essays on the grouse and hare hunting ("current of the grouse", "on grouse currents", "hunting for hares-beels"), books: "Essays and Stories", "Hunting and Hunters". N. N. died in the prime of creative forces. His brainchild - the magazine Our Hunt - lasted until 1917 thanks to the efforts and selflessness of his wife Alexandra Nikolaevna.
