Humorous stories

Mikhail Zoshchenko (1894-1958) is primarily known as a satirist, the author of unusually funny stories and feuilleton. His characters are ambiguous: on the one hand, naive, even simple -minded, but sometimes able to humiliate and insult, and sometimes kill, especially if it concerns their property. Nevertheless, they cause truly homeric laughter.
In this book, in addition to the chosen stories of the writer, the Znovel Blue Book Cycle included, which he called the "Brief History of Human Relations", where the stories of modernity alternate with stories about the past
