Sergey Petrovich Alekseev (1922–2008) - a famous Russian writer who created a whole historical library for younger schoolchildren.
The book includes two cycles of stories: about the small period of the reign of the emperor-transformer Peter I (1672–1725)-from the Narva defeat in 1700 to the capture of this fortress after four years-and the greatest commander Alexander Vasilievich Suvorov (1730 –1800) Much unites these two heroes of Russian history of the eighteenth century. Both were modest in everyday life, both real merits put above the awards, sonorous titles and orders, both were distinguished by devotion to their work until the last sigh. And most importantly - both were infinitely loyal to Russia!
For primary and secondary school age
