We sometimes have to meet with a peculiar attitude of people to military technologies. Someone, returning home after military service, claims that war is technological victories when a weak body gains power over everything around him thanks to weapons. In this book, through the evolution of bombers, the dark side of the psychological history of modern man, his ideas, ingenuity, theorizations, arrogance, pretentiousness, and sometimes pure insanity, is shown. And their cost is very high: destroyed cities and countless victims of bombing.
The book describes five eras, from the First World War to the present day. In total, it presents 30 aircraft that determined the development strategy for this type of weapon. Basically, there are large machines designed for massive bombing, i.e. for the destruction of cities and civilians
