The novel of the Serbian writer, playwright, translator, musical critic of Alexander Gatalitsa (born 1964) is dedicated to the First World War. The text consists of five chapters, epilogue and application. Following the fate of more than 70 actors whose names are distributed in accordance with belonging to the warring parties and are given instead of the entry, the author describes the winners and losers, important people and ordinary people - from crowned persons to waiters and saboteurs. The author combines attention to the historical fact and details of real life with fantastic and surreal details. Combining fictional and documentary events, Gatalitsa creates a convincing picture of the turning point in world history. The publication is addressed to connoisseurs of modern Serbian prose and all the events of the First World War
