Features, including "narrow places", seven large -scale transformations of the" military machine "of Prussia and then Germany, starting from the reign of Friedrich the Great and ending with the" Merkel era in Germany, are revealed. The role and place of the factor of development and offensive use of military force in the country"s foreign policy on the chosen temporary segment are evaluated. Particular attention is paid to issues of creating shock components of troops, moreover, the process of building the armed forces is studied in close connection with the development of tactics of military art. The characteristics of the transformations of the promising appearance of the armed forces created as a result of the transformations are investigated. The general patterns of the transformations of the "military machine" are determined and on the basis of this a model of its reforms in Prussia and Germany is built.
