In the novel by the famous writer and historian Leonty Rakovsky "Generalissimo Suvorov, the life and combat path of the great Russian commander is traced from an inconspicuous lieutenant colonel to Generalissimo. The milestones along this path were victories over the Turks under Kinburn and on the Rymnik River, the capture of the Ochakov fortresses and Ishmael, the suppression of the uprising in Poland and an incredible trip to Italy, where Russian soldiers first encountered Napoleon’s troops. The enemies trembled from one name Suvorov, and his "miracle gods" adored their commander and were ready to follow him recklessly. It is not surprising that the Russian army won sixty -four battles under his leadership, not losing a single one.
