It is no coincidence that two novels of Miomomir Petrovich, whose action takes place in different eras - the Trojan War and the end of the twentieth century, were under one cover. They are firmly connected by one topic: the search for a personality place in the harsh world, which is more than relevant at any time. The hero of the first novel Fikitet does not observe the beauty of the ancient world, but the cruelty and dirt of an absurd war. His attempts to evade this cannot be crowned with success, as Milos Zurbaran, the hero of the Persian mirror, cannot escape from the cruelty of our time. Both novels, despite such different eras, are connected together not only by the fate of the heroes, but also by the “hot line”, which for millennia connecting the Balkan Peninsula, Mediterranean, Malaya Asia, Transcaucasia, Persia. And if “phylitetet on Lemnos” harshly and unusually interprets the ancient mythical history, linking it with modernity, then the “Persian mirror” demonstrates the futility of attempts to escape from our time in the depths of an ancient semi -mythical history
